    No modem detected

    Hi everyone !
    Ihave a problem my system crashed. so I fdisk and re-formatted my drive.
    After doing so I can only run AOL but not net zero, My 56k modem cannot be detected by win,prior to crashing it ran both AOL NET ZERO, any Suggestions!

    When you installed AOL, did you make it your DEFAULT BROWSER? If you did, it discomboobiated your TCP/IP.

    First, go to Internet Options and check the box: Internet Explorer should check to see if its the default browser. Then open Internet Explorer and make it default.

    If that doesn't work, uninstall AOL and when reinstalling...check NO to make AOL default browser!
