computer crashed when i use my cdrom..install.exe..

the 52x works okay but everytime i use the iomega my coputer slows down and crashes, BOSD or this

always somthing bout the install. Is there something wrong with my burner or is my computer has a corrupted install.

Either make them both DMA, or move them to different channels, also, if using Ultra ATA/66 use the 40 pin 80 conductor cable.

Page Faults typically are a problem trying to access some type of memory, be it Virtual or RAM. It sounds like one ide controller is having problems accessing the other one, or getting out to other portions of the systemboard. I'd guess it's probably the DMA inconsistency.
