    Homeworld and Voodoo?

I've got a Voodoo5 not giving me trouble anywhere else, but I can't get Homeworld running. I've tried DX7 and DX8, old and Beta drivers, and of course, I've patched the game. Anyone know anything about this?

No--nothing but pure lock-ups. I've even tried more driver reinstalls and game reinstalls.

I'm not really familiar with the Voodoo 5 but PCI or AGP? What about your mb? Some mb require special patches to run an AGP video card with hardware acceleration. Just a guess here based on what I've read.

What OS are you trying to run it on? Win 2k is famous for stuff like this.

I have the Homeworld Demo and have run it on a Voodoo2 and a Voodoo3 with no problems. Are you sure it's the video card? Are you getting any error messages?
