    no floppy drive!!

    my floppy stopped working 2 months after building pc
    p2 400, voo3 2000, 128ram, gigabyte bx2000 mobo
    so i swapped floppy..........nothing
    so i swapped cable...........nothing
    so i did it again allnew parts.......nothing
    so who needs a floppy, i thought.....I DO!
    this was 12 months ago
    so spent good cash on a new abit mobo ....nothing
    ok this is getting silly
    so i swapped floppy & cables agian
    had the floppy runing on a seperate power sup
    and still nothing
    i`ve checked & changed every bios feacher
    over and over
    and i`ve had the floppy working in another pc
    why oh why


    if any bright ideas spring to mind .....HELP

    Only thing left is a bad power connector. Got a volt-ohm meter? Test it - if not, if your hard drive works swap the power connectors temporarily to see if you can boot from a floppy or perhaps try an used connector.
