Clean install: Windows won't install....Freezes

Well I just built a Duron machine here are the specs.

KT7 NON raid
700 MHZ
64 PC 100
maxtor 7200 15.?
WD 7300 15.?

Well it will hang right at the 100 % mark when it is JUST setting up the instalation
wizard.

Possible memory problem. Is that RAM certified to use with that board? Try different memory.

First thing to look for: See if virus protection is turned on in the bios settings, this prevents Win98 from installing correctly.
Second thing: Check NIC if present. Some NiCS hace to be installed after the OS because they are misconfigured.
Third thing: Move some PCI cards around. I had the same problem with Win2000 and it turned out to be the slot my cards were in, moved em around and blammo everything worked right.
