Motherboard problem I think

My system:
Abit BH6
celeron 333
128mb of ram

I have 128 mb or ram installed, I decided to add another 32mb. After I added the memory I turned the system on nothing. This is much like everyone else that has this problem where the power comes on, but nothing repsponds, HD,monitor, cd nothing.

I keep hearing about clearing the CMOS, i have no idea how to do this on the ABIT BH6.
I have checked to make sure its grounded properly and even went as far as taking all hardware out and putting it on another board. Everything works fine, monitor , memory , HD, video .

Now here is something I just found out. the 32mb of memory I was adding was pc66 the memory I had in the machine already was pc100. This is something I didnt think about when puttin the memory in. IS this a lost motherboard now or should I still try the CMOS thing, which I have no idea how to do on the abit board....

Well thanks for the advice, i have been to about 4 or 5 message boards to get answers and they all revolved around clearing the cmos, although you was the only one to give a description on it, thanks. After all that I tryed to clear it and it did not work. Im sending the board back to be replaced. Thanks for the help

Have you tried to run the system without that extra 32MBs of memory. The system was working fine before you added it.

There is a jumper on the bottom right behind the PCI slots towards the front of the board that has three pins.

.=pin
-=jumper

.- is the normal setting.
-. move it here, reboot the system, it does nothing
.- move it back and your CMOS is reset.

Also, try removing the RAM and see if you can get back into the system first. Make sure all connections are made well. Your mobo is more than likely not shot unless you felt a static charge (static electricity) when you touched the mobo. That will kill a mobo very quickly.

Also, if I remember correctly, the jumper says "CMOS jumper" next to it. Abit tries to make them slightly more user-friendly I guess.
