I have been trying to know if my Hard Drive works the way it is supposed to be.

I checked out the HD properties in Windows Device Manager and the 'DMA' tick option does not appear.

I checked out BIOS and the settings for DMA are on 'auto select'.

Can anybody tell me how to make sure I'm running with DMA 66 ?

I am happy to download/buy a bench, but would appreciate if somebody could tell me how to change it to DMA 66 in case it isn't srt up properly (see, in France, we have to pay for our download time - and them benches come pretty big, don't they ?).

I am running an Athlon 500 MHz system, Gigabyte MotherBoard GA-71X BIOS Rev F1, 128 MB RAM, Elsa ErazorX GeForce 256 SDR. Both CD-ROM and a ZIP drives (the latter is set as slave to the CD ROM) are on a PCI slot different from the HD's..
