    Question I have a dumb question?

    Hello,
    I was given 10 Cyrix 6x86 cpus,couple of
    them have an L after the 6x86 what does the
    L stand for.One of them has MX after it I guess it means MMX technology but what does L
    mean.
    Thanks for any help

    Cyrix had a heat problem with their 686 line, and introduced a lower voltage model called the "L", it runs at 2.8v, and was set up voltage wise similar to the MMX (P55C)..the MX they had was their take on the MMX processor....they all had a PR rating that was a Cyrix "invention", it would run at a lower speed, but was "rated" higher...
