Ok, here's da 411:
Boards burnt.
HDDs burnt.
CPUs ok.
CDs ok.
PSU caused it all.
Well, I can probably only afford to go for a Cyrix MII333 if I have to pay to fix this. At least I still have my dignity - and an SLI rig. Life $UX

Think the HDDs ok - cheap chinese PSU better not have killed my Stick of Infineon, or some comunists are goin' down!!

Wow, Thats a tough pill to swallow, I feel for ya alpha.

i feel for ya....had a power supply go bad and take my mobo, both hard drives, my sound and video cards all at once about a year ago....and then two months after that...had another one go nad, taking my new mobo, and both hard drives again...got lucky the second time with the cards, cpu and memory being ok....

I think I can afford a new board, but I mightn't be able to upgrade to my planned C366 system 
Thanks guys - I'll let ya know what happens -the person who owns the local computer store said they might be able to scam me another board under warrentee
