That is a dll associated with the Microsoft Client for Networks. Remove the client, reboot, and reinstall. Should fix you up.

I too would recommend doing as KT mentioned as that will allow any missing or corrupt files to be replaced.

Also, if it tells you that you already have a file, do you want to keep it, click NO, because if you have a corrupted file somewhere, it won't get overwritten if you click yes. You can always run windows update again to get the latest files once everything works. I had to do that for a network problem I had. Kept reinstalling it, but saying YES, and never worked. Said NO, and wallah! success! Good Luck

He found that what was suggested worked....just for future reference please post back to the same thread that has the answers so other members that helped know that the problem is fixed. This is why multiple postings do not help and are discuraged.

Ron. It looks like you created 2 threads actually in the same forum...When that happens it's best to go back and EDIT one of them and put a link to the other so you dont have people answering to BOTH threads

    Ron_C,

MntSnow was making a point as to why posting multiple times does not work well... and you did post multiple times.

He wasn't trying to shove it down your throat at all, and it's not like he completely layed an all-out flame on you.

Everyone makes mistakes... I've multi-posted several times myself... so don't sweat it!

I'm sorry to have stepped on your toes Ron Noone has made me "king" and I do not pretend to be so nor do I try to flaunt my member status.

I and many others visit and help daily and it does get to be a pain when you find the same question posted multiple times after you have already answered the question in other places. We try to help and I'm sorry that you took my "suggestion" the wrong way..

In the end all I will ask is: why didn't you post your reply in the same thread that had the answers to your problem? That would have given credit to those that helped you find the fix and let others know what worked for you and save others from "wasting their time" replying to a thread that you will basically not be returning to That is the reason I posted the link and the request for fixing "multiple posts"

Mntsnow - Not too many people I know would have shown as much restraint as you have. You've helped an awful lot of people here, and I'm glad that most people appreciate it.

    Kudos

    Steve

P.S. If they decide to have a Sysopt King, I'll vote for you...

LOL Steve I just do it for the "warm fuzzy feeling" I get inside from helping people. People that choose to blow-up and such over little "corrections" just don't have much going for them in life in my humble opinion and so it's not worth my time to worry about it.

    Thanks again for the "vote"

Mtnsnow, you have two choices let this thread die or carry it on. I think the point has been made. I could really care who votes you the most popular. So let it go. I wrote to you in private and it seems you are not sastified because your ego demands more. Choice is yours.

You're not going to get anywhere on these forums slamming Mntsnow, so I suggest YOU let it drop.
