Blue screen at boot up!
About 50% of the time when I boot my computer up, I get a blue screen saying:
Windows
A fatal 0E has occurred at 0167: BFF86EBD. The current Application will be terminated.
When I finally get into the computer after rebooting from the blue screen, it's stable as a rock. So I didn't think it could be my RAM, othewise I would get problems during use.
I am running an MSI MS-6163, Intel Celeron 466mhz @ default 466, Creative Riva TNT 16mb AGP, 128mb pc100 SDRAM, Quantum Fireball EX 6.4gb, Diamond Data 50x CDROM, Ricoh MP7040A CDRW.
I have a list of all the things I have that start up from the System Configuration Utility: ScanRegistry, TaskMonitor, SystemTray, LoadPowerProfile, Tweak UI. I have a few other things from my virus scanner in startup but I know they aren't the problem because I was getting blue screens before I stalled that. Also I noticed that I have Tweak UI and some of my virus scan drivers loaded twice in startup for some reason. There is nothing in my config.sys, win.ini, system.ini or autoexec.bat to startup either.
Thanks for your time and sorry for writing so much.
