spellchecker in outlook express won't work

i have win 98 SE , works 4.5 installed & spellchecker works fine , but when i use outlook express all i get is a message saying an error occured , then spellchecker is cancelled

Run SFC (system file checker) as I bet you have a file that is missing or is corrupted. The SFC program will help you find what is missing or bad and get it replaced.

To run the program just go to the "RUN" line and type SFC and hit enter. this will launch the program and it is very straight forward to use.

The only way i know of is to have MS office installed. I don't know of anyother way.

Try re-running the Works 4.5a upgrade first, that seems to fix a lot of problems with the program.
