Downloaded pdf-file (pdf-xchange-viewer-format) not visible

I can see all official files from my bank. when downloading a single transaction i can also see the file during the download. but when using explorer for attaching later in email i dont see anything, file is quite small(21kb)-also during attaching, no file seen.
Maybe the same effect like on facebook. if files dont have a min. size they cannot be uploaded.

If i change file-name during first download from bank-account file will not be saved but its acting like it IS saved.
Hurrah! thought i could not attach files (or only images)from ebay-messages in thunderbird.
