icq problems

Hey All
I just signed up for and installed ICQ (99BETA V.3.19)and can't get it to connect. Each time I click on the "available/connect" button it says it is connecting but then it times out(after 4-5 min) with a message that says "A disconection was detected. The service will automatically try to re-connect." .I then click on the "View Network Status" bar but it reports that the network is ok. I'm real new to ICQ so I figure that it's something real simple that I've missed.

Disconnect from the Internet. Wait for 10-15 minutes and connect again. They have these glitches sometimes.

I used to get this prob until I changed icq server.
goto preferences and add a new server under the server tab...

you can use:
icq1.mirabilis.com:4000
through to
icq5.mirabilis.com:4000

(default is icq.mirabilis.com:4000)

make sure you move the one you want to use to the top of the server list
