Windows 10 - Toggle Mouse Snap to On/Off
Is there a command-line sequence for toggling the Mouse Snap To property On & Off.
MouseSettings.jpg
I'm not familiar with Windows background commands.
An application I use (Quicken if anyone cares) messes with the pointer when Snap To is On.
I want to have it on all the time and turn it off [only] when I run Quicken.
Thanks for any input.

Looks like you can do it with reg commands. You can download the .reg files to toggle Snap to.

Thanks for this pointer it looks like what I'm after.
My earlier google's didn't hit anything like this.
I've d/l'ed the two reg files and will do some experimenting (and report back for history).
Again, thanks.

I d/l'ed and ran both .reg files.
Yes they do "toggle" the Mouse Snap To On & Off but ...
As the commentary on the https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...dows-10-a.html Site said you have to reboot for the update to take effect.
That's not really what I was looking for - I was hoping for something more dynamic/immediate - akin to [a] Control Panel update.
Oh well, too bad, maybe it can't happen (I'm not a Windows internals guy).
Thanks.

Ah sorry. I missed the log off/restart part.
Maybe you can make a shortcut to Mouse properties. I tried it in Win10 and it seems to work.

Sorry for the delayed response.
In NW NJ and only just today got power & cable from Friday's storm.
Thanks!
The link to https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ts-create.html is pretty much what I was looking for.
I downloaded the set and applied the Shortcut for Pointer Options.
That allows me to easily toggle the Snap To Off before Quicken and then back On after I close Quicken.
Very convenient.
Again, thanks for the support.
