New Router-Wrong MAC-adresse? No Internet
No Internet -see also here:
http://www.sysopt.com/showthread.php...71#post1510471
It seems i have found the mistake-probably wrong MAC-Adresse installed by Provider on new Icotera i6800(i6806-00) router.
Last Digit is 4c on the console
On the Label send with router last Digit is 4A
We will see tommorow.
Tried in slower winxp-machine. Signal came hardly to the PC.
On newer Asrock AliveDual eSata2(this one), i could make a Connection but only reaching administrative console.
Still no Internet with winxp.
Will now test in win7-64 ultimate.
btw: sim-router which i am actually using not working on win 7-pc when in usb-external case.
will get 5gb-limit stick which will cost 30chf/month. we will see how quick.
Happy New Year and many thanks for all your helpers.

SOLVED-Providers mistake!
Lost a lot of nerves, time and money(expensive and slow prepaid sim-router) and weight until the provider-after Holiday-found out they had wrong Settings.
Now also WLAN for Phablet-Connections is working. Strong 5G doesnt reach Device and 2.4ghz-Wlan couldnt be activated. maybe it was the Settings in console or/and i had to let window repair.
Still unsure if i can get WLAN without PC. always had PC on on Winxp. which is also working.
I can even easily switch by booting from Docking -Station if ever i would be in need of Internet with winxp.
Provider will now check console and give comments.
