    Partly backup of registry-winxp

    Dont understand instructions in Schritt 1 how to backup part of registry. the mentioned RtWLAN-exe-key.
    Had a message at start-for the first time.

    type command in the search-field. which one? i dont have the usual search.
    restricted account here. should i do i admin-account.Thanks
    NB: PC is clean after running the universal tools.
    yes i have seen the link below only not yet studied registry-instructions there.

    Nehmen Sie in diesem Fall die Liste, die Ihnen angeboten wird, wenn Sie den Befehl AUSFÜHREN aus dem Startmenü verwenden. Diese Liste heißt RunMRU. Dabei steht MRU für Most Recently Used, also z.B. für Programme, Ordner oder Freigaben, die häufig benutzt werden.
    its about exporting a key and not most recently used programs.
    and in the first thread:

    I backed up the realtek-key with the simple way.

    SOLVED

    Could solve the main problem, RtWLAN.exe error at start. RtlICS.dll missing (dont remember if it was the same error-message.
    used the tips in the link. got a new driver. for Logilink Realtek RTL8187 WLAN-Stick usb 2.0

    You can backup you registry keys, using export key cmd
    regedit /e c:\output.reg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\YourLocation"

    you can make a bat file with script
