Need Help with Bose Companion 2 Speakers for computer

I have a Dell Optiplex 9010 and I started using Bose Companion 2 Speakers with it with no problems. Now all of a sudden, the speakers won't work...no sound....I run windows 10 on this computer......

NE 1 know a fix for this? Thanks in advance

First you have to isolate what went wrong. Test the speakers by plugging them into your smartphone or iPod. Yes, that will actual work - provided that the speakers (and their built-in amplifier) work. If no joy, the speakers are the culprit and you have to figure out if they are getting power.

If the speakers work when connected to the other source, you should uninstall your PC audio drivers and install them again. That usually does it.

If you have a USB headset or any other headset connected, disconnect them while testing.
