Sound- interferences on loudspeaker-mouse-related-wixp-old HDD.
Was working on my old winxp-HDD to clean for backup. until no updates had been made there. was using an older Nvidia-software-version incl. sound.
dont use internal but sound-stick. maybe its software-related. there is a seperate software. will try that again.
have Wireless mouse. tried without prolonged cable both on a multi-pc-switch and cable on MOBO. does not make a difference. removed system-entries and Nvidia-driver/software. didnt help.
Perfect sound on new drive. usb-stick on a power-driven multi-usb-bar. the only device used there.

It could also be related to imperfect earthing to central-heating(the one under the window) pc2 is connected to pc1 also. at pc2 i had the perfect earthing cable attached but not yet plugged in to the wall. on pc1 no interferrences at all. i will exchange wireless mouse by a wired one first.

sound-driver-cleaning-tool?
I remember a sound-driver-cleaning tool, train?
sound on other newer drive is perfect.
-
Sound cleaning tool.
The driver, remove in Device Manager.
The program , if it shows in Add/Remove, Geek uninstaller or Revo uninstaller is needed.
-
Whats the procedure? before installation revo must be active. would this be enough?
you mean sound must be removed with revo? but its integrated in nvidia driver. i was using an older stable version as you advised. maybe better updating then? first used the downloaded version from hdd then from CD. didnt help

Never seen or heard of a tool for cleaning USB or sound.
Remove all of the sound before rebooting, yes all of it.

Comparing Ok-Drive with Noise-Sound-HDD-configuration- 2 images
defective sound_hdd
in the two images you see on right side usb-system-settings.
in OK-image one can see Cardreader(the external one i have also an internal cardreader) whereas in non-ok its not there. will
install the found software also there.
but maybe the interference comes from there despite reader being shutdown temporarily.
shortly before login noise is coming.
Different reg. Sound:
NON-Sound OK HDD:
USB-setting shows: USB-Massenspeichergerät
Sound-ok-HDD.
Audio-Setting shows: USB Pnp Sound Device
Thats why i could install driver which i cant in non-ok-configuration(other HHD).
Revo only showing Nvidia audio-driver.
I will now first install cardreader and trying to install sound-driver. Should i remove USB-Massenspeichergerät first on Non-ok
drive?
Ok HDD first then NON-Ok-HDD:
Attachment 9905
AUDIO_USB SOUND NOT OK..jpg

Alcor external Cardreader now active again in settings. Twice now. does that matter? last time when disactivated and removed only one entry.
-
As long as it works, I would live with it.
-
What do i have to remove before reinstallation of usb-sound-stick-driver?
-
Just follow the on screen directions / prompts.
-
Which windows -system-settings do i have to remove prior to deinstallation of nvidia audio-driver?
see screen-shots of faulty and non-faulty drive
-
None. I have for years, just removed all the bad drivers, then rebooted.
