Which version of Outlook are you using? Or do you mean Outlook.com webmail?

I am using Office 2007, so Outlook 2007. Now this photo is not an attachment, it was just sent as an email from my nephew...

No not working.. this photo is not embedded, its an old photo my sister sent. the email contains just has a photo. I don't understand why I can not just copy this photo yo my pictures folder in Windows 10 ? I never had any issues doing this in the past ?

I think this is a Windows 10 and Microsoft Outlook issue. I did a search and found similar complaints... ?

In Windows 10, it's C:\Users\<username>\Pictures, not "My Pictures". That was from the XP days.

So you tried doing a copy and paste into MS Paint first, and then saving the picture?
Did you try all three methods from my link?

this photo is not embedded, its an old photo my sister sent. the email contains just has a photo.
If the photo is not an attachment, then it should be embedded into the message. If she cut and pasted it into the text area, then it is an embedded pic. It doesn't matter if there is other text or not.

Thanks Midknyte for your help, I found a way to transfer this photo, I had to save the email with the photo as an HTML, then go into my documents wherw this was saved and from there I could copy the photo to my pictures folder. A lot of steps for something that should be more simple to accomplish....
