USB-Stick USB 2.0 loaded in USB 2.0-PC wants to be formatted in USB 3.0-PC
Loaded new USB 2.0-Stick with data on USB 2.0-PC winxp. win7-pc(USB 3.0) asked formatting.
Has the empty stick to be formatted before loading?
yes we bought an USB 3.0 stick for the WIN7-PC too.
Should i use the USB 2.0 anymore. the old one always got errors on win7 but worked without solving these. and the warnings repeated anyway even if resolved over and over again.

Usually the USB stick error is caused by not using safely remove a time or two. My experience.
Things that I have used to fix them.
Checkdisk
Use Gpart to remove all partitions. How and why it had 6?????
Formated to NTSF, long format, then remove the partition and re-format to Fat 32..
Took a big hammer and smashed 6 USB sticks, 1 was a USB 3.0, so far.
