Trueimage-saving win7-system-Unanswered questions
Was saving for the first time a friends win7-system.
Was bit puzzled when seeing c(system) and d(windows). so i first saved c(was very quick) and then c + d...
win7 uses now 120 of 248gb. was 170! dont know how we could reduce these. windirstat not yet used.
but what is wondering me: with the multiple saving options. how do i know which one it is when i have to recover? still dont understand whats the advantage of sector by sector. does that mean other version is unsafe?
and havent yet found out how to seperate full backup from incremental one. do i have multiple files for an incemental backup. one as base? how can i seperate all of them. do i have to setup multiple folders?

C:/ most likely was the reserved/MBR partition.

On Windows 7, the size is 100 MB whereas on Windows 8, it is 350 MB.

I couldnt sit by when it was saved. Its about how long is saving time on a 16gb-i7 pc.
1. saving to second hdd.
2. saving to usb 2.0 eighter hdd 3.5 or 2.5".
btw: i hate the power-button of WDigital ... book-enclosures.
never known how to shut power down. i am pressing and pressing and nothing is done!

Use Safely remove, then pull the power plug.

I am very upset with Trueimage. inside i see C and D for system and windows. E for datapartition.
Windows is telling me D is data-partition.

Each program does read hdds differently.

Had a very strange behavior when copying backup-file from internal drive to esata. menue showed file-transfer blocked but in reality full size was shown as transferred.

Had ghost do that a couple times. Weird, but once in while. . . .
