Smooth running of large plastic light-switch. silicone-spray?

Have cleaned the large square switch of kitchen lamp as good a possible. switch cannot be removed. so to run it smoother should i use silicone-spray or molokote dx-grease. or just try silicone first?
the square surface is pushing a flat
    lever.

I replace electrical switches when that happens. Safer and you are dealing with 240 Volts.

Its not the switch itself its the button which is pushing the lever. maybe better replacing the lamp altogether its the small square lamp which is mounted under the cupboard over the water-sink in kitchen. i mounted 2x 370lm instead of one 630lm halogens. normal 40Ws were in but they are not available anymore. forbidden to sell by EU.

because of heat? its only a small square lamphouse of 30cm lenght. light must be bright for old man. be is not used a lot.
halogen means heat. 2x 370lm now, 630 would be bright enough but could be too hot. a large tilt-plate is pressing the linear switch-lever. i will add grease but i am unsure if i should spray silicone inside hat lever. maybe bad idea if its reaching the contacts. maybe its sealed enough. one never knows. and i dont know if its easy replaceable. switch is a bit hard but doable.
