    Palemoon is roughly based on FF24. It's really old and outdated. Look at some benchmarks. You'd be better off running the latest FF ESR.

    As Palemoon diverges from FF, you'd also have more compatibility problems running FF addons.

    Another problem is security fixes. FF (Release and ESR) would be the first to get the fixes. Since Palemoon is based on older code, they would need to figure out how to backport the security fixes.

    I haven't see a forked FF that is significantly faster than FF itself, so I'd recommend sticking to at least FF ESR.

    Ice Weasel is just as fast, but it is a strictly Linux browser.
    I use the same addons.

    FF just released another security update today. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Let's see how long it takes for the forked versions to update.

    just go an update. new version=update, rigth? must only restart now.
    question is if i miss the announcement to install, how can i force to do. will it do automatically no matter if i replied? its seems it had downloaded only not installed. normal version. not esr yet.

    For Firefox, go to Options - Advanced - Update. You can choose automatic update or to check for updates.

    If you installed the Maintenance service, it should have already installed the update silently.
