How must ssd 240 organized for win7-32 or 64?

should new ssd 140 left alone for win7 or can/should it be partitioned.
system and programs in one partition/drive.
so data in a second hdd or better also ssd?
i only have a slow sata-slot free for second drive. second quick one for esata used.

Kind of small for partitioning, right? I would not. Install Windows on the SSD and programs wherever you like.

Just install to it and enjoy. Just the one partition.
Believe me, it is fast enough to see the difference.

    SDD + HDD-old-system-drive

Can i attach new ssd win7-drive plus old -HDD-systemdrive, ssd on quick slot, hdd on slower slot? will sdd boot?
or do i have to set hdd inactive, if yes how can this be done? i know where but not how. maybe better using data-backup only on a seperate drive.
cannot use second quick sata-slot. is reserved for esata.

Install with the 240 being the only drive hooked up.
afterward make sure it is the bootdrive in the BIOS, then hook up the other hdds.

Then later if you wish to boot to another OS, just go into the Bios and select that HDD as the bootdrive.
My prefered method of dual/multi booting.

I was not aware of that BIOS option. Must certainly be available with older MOBOs.
i was sometimes very surprised when the wrong drive was booting on slot2.

I have been using the BIOS option since 2001 so it has been around a while.
