USB ports
My main PC is a Gigabyte 785 with an AMD 6 core CPU, 8 gigs crucial ram, Radeon 6570, 500 Seagate, running cool at 47 deg C:
I've been using this for over a year with no problems but now all of the sudden after starting and running for a bit the USB ports stop working and essentially freezes the PC, all I can do is shut it off and wait a bit and restart. What will stop the USB ports from working, I verified that by plugging a flash drive in and nothing? I really don't know where to start looking. Everything in the BIOS is the same and no changes of any hardware lately.

What USB devices do you have connected to the PC?
What is the exact model number of the motherboard? Is it running the latest BIOS?

Gigabyte GA-785GM
Latest bios
I really don't see why that would make a difference, it's been running like clockwork for a year so why now losing the USB Ports now? Nothing has changed, hardware of software.

Disconnect/swap out each device one at a time to see if that helps. It's possible that one of those devices is failing.

Save power maybe one part of the problem too

NICs have the same silly setting too.
