Strange behaviour of the rectangular switch:
First i want to tell you how i will make him more visible.
    a) 3 slots are one 3 sides but very minimal marked. i relabled them with large numbers.
    b) black button i will paint/lackier white

The problem during shut-down is/was that i had to find the right moment to shut down completely the screen-dont want standby. i had no other choice until i found out with that switch or could trigger.
i could shut down screen after waiting a certain time. dont remember if it was after or before pc-shut-off. but it worked surprisingly.
But when i restarted pc the day after automatic switch was set to pc2 and i couldnt change.
And i tried to simulate what i had found out, also on other switch. was not capable to do.
there was a moment during these tests that i had to switch from analoge to hdmi by pressing main screen-button. normally it will find automatically.
any idea how to shut down screen AFTER pc is off(in standby or shut-off)? thanks
btw if only one pc is online one cannot change with switch to have blackout. this is possible with usb/vga-switch KVM usb 2.0

    Standby/hibernate I always disable.

On my KVM, it trys to boot to the wrong one, I can hit th Scroll Lock key until it is on the right one or push the right button on the switch.

    Pc standby/hibernate is off.
i meant screen-standby which i cannot set. its on all the time. screen must be shut-off. or maybe i err, just need to wait longer.
it is saying no connection or similar.
and i meant psu shut-off on the other hand.

have now set auto off but i didnt see at first trial.
then i see power... LED on: will be executed or standby(dont know what this is, maybe trying)
i can see no signal or not found when pc shut down. then after a certain time i have a chance to see set-off-menue.
so there is a short time frame during shutdown and a permanent one afterwards after a certain time. samsung S27C350H
cannot set gamma and colortemp.(greyed out).

    gamma and colortemp.
Doing that did take a special cd a few years ago.

Other than brightness, never have needed any other adjustment.

you are not doing photoshop. ok will check if cd is helping.
have found out that there is a screen-autoshut-down-timer. seems to power down and not like windows-screen-standby. i must push the button to revive.

No photoshop work here is right. My eyes are to messed up from age.

Well if it saves on the electric bill, that is a good thing.
