    Watercooling to speed up winxp-dualcore?

hdd, gpu and cpu are between 39 and 50°C. i could imagine when all these can be lowered(CPU down to 35°C) my pc would run much quicker, let alone when updated to 8gb ram an win7-64.
Since its now running smoothly this could be overkill of an outdated system, right?
Maybe better save the money for a new pc. i5 e.g. can be get for 400 euro in D.

temps are now beween 43 and 54° C and the day will get hotter. But i have removed unnecessary stuff infront of the open pc. all parts sitting on a table-like setup. MOBO on small "legs". some inches from the base.

54C, I would not worry about it. Since it is open, set a house fan to blow over it. See if that helps.

Yes had the same idea and drilling hole into the thick plate below. do you remember my old p4-like amd is mounted on a frame(slim plate cut out) 50cm above it. under it a fan is mounted.

    Thermal paste, multiple answers.
P4 , which run hot, about 2 years.
    AMD 3 - 5 years
And the AMD where I got the paste thin enough, it has been running since 2002 with no paste change.
Arctic Silver 5 is what I used.
60C is where I get curious, 64C is panic time for me.

amd dualcore now at dangerous 58°C. pc was running all hottest day long but not used. spybot was searching.
maybe better shutting it off now before running malwarebytes. and get another big fan.

40C gets me up in that range too. Well, it did, as I have AC in this apartment.

had multiple ideas for AC. pseudo AC by using water. also ionisation(the cheap version.....i dont trust-maybe waste if money. but i have photographic equipment laying around.
have bought an Air-damper and gave it back since carpet was wet then......
We have a company here creating professional air-washing-machine, not cheap.
If i had AC and will go out it would hit me hard. but i must seriously think about it. not possible to work hard at home under these circumstances or sleeping at day.

It idles the cpu when there is no load, thus allows it to cool down.
