MP4-files had been disengaged again. dont know the cause. didnt defrag again but run sysopt and your security-parcours. msse, malwarebytes, adwcleaner, jrt beside tfc first.
aec.sys is and was always there. didnt change. how can a file be in this file :61883.sys?

pls verify what you had meant with where aec.sys should be. will search for it now.
apropos searching: whats the reason why searching could last longer? beside indexing not enabeled?

I use Search everything, the heck with the windows junk/garbage.

    http://www.voidtools.com/

I do not have XP installed anywhere.

    Found this:

The original aec.sys is an important part of Windows and rarely causes problems. The aec.sys file is located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder. Known file sizes on Windows 8/7/XP are 142,464 bytes (71% of all occurrences), 122,472 bytes or 142,592 bytes.
The driver can be started or stopped from Services in the Control Panel or by other programs. The program has no visible window. There is no detailed description of this service. The process is not active. It is a Microsoft signed file. It is a Windows system file. aec.sys appears to be a compressed file.
    http://www.what-is-exe.com/filenames/aec-sys.html

See if the 61883.sys is there and check it out as I listed above.

Problem with defraggler is it could happen that certain videofiles are not working anymore e.g. mp4 or/and flv.
maybe not working or animation instead of real video shown.
    multiple steps solved the problems:
    1. installation of windows mediaplayer over the existing one-no deinstallation since the older version will then be present.
do this only if the following steps dont work. dont remember for which reason i was succesful when doing this.
    2. remove ffdshow if present.
    remove lav-filters if present.
    3. flashplayer-update-normally autoupdates when in administrator-account
some flv-files in restricted account show animation.
reinstall lav-filters (normally needed to make mov-files working in WMP) but after removing they were still working....
    3. reassociate flv-file-type with windows mediaplayer(or the used program). if already there remove association and reassociate.
must be done on both accounts.
    4. mp4-splitter activation. only program-version around
    4. flv-splitter activation. there is a program-version and manual instruction. i was sometimes only succesful when doing the manual command. will come back later when a small problem is solved.

For some reason, defrag programs , so I put the videos on a do not defrag hdd after getting them on the computer.
When moved like that, they are not fragmented.

The question is how do i keep videos undefragmented?
Observing regvac and change to smartdefrag if needed
as a result of my findings, in regvac, i have checked safe items only. and will observe. if problems still occur i will replace defraggler by smartdefrag again.
