BSOD on 4 different PC's running XP Pro

laptop HP. Dv9933cl, two AMD quad core Gigabyte with 4 gb ram, 320 HD, one Intel dual core 8600 all with XP Pro installed. I just formatted and installed XP Pro on my laptop this morning and it runs normally.
Because of a special need for some old Photo Editing software from Nikon (Capture 3.5) I obtained a brand new unopened box with the editor even though it's 14 years old. I installed the program on my Laptop and the installation was normal but when I attempt to open the new editing program I get BSOD and it shuts down immediately.
This is the message I received from windows regarding the shut-down
    BCCODE: fc BCP1: FLFIE94C
    BCP2: 1B544963
    BCP3: F6FIE8C0
    BCP4: 00000001
    OSver: 5_1_2600
    SP:3_0
    PRODUCT: 256_1
I can't identify the problem and I need the program to run my camera tethered with Firewire but I haven't even connected the camera yet.. I Emailed Nikon giving them the same data but no answer yet.

Run BlueScreenView to see the exact message. I'm guessing it's some kind of driver that the program installs.

I gave up on Nikon programs and only use FastStone Image Viewer

Gimp2 works a treat too. For a great combo

I have a older photosuite software that won't work on any cpu over a low end 2 core so it mite not work on a dual core & up cpu.
I keep a old 98 & xp pc that I keep off the internet just to use my older software & play my old games on that won't work on vista & up os.
