Changing from external to internal videocard- must cmos be changed?

If one has to change from defective external to internal videocard does the cmos-setting have to be changed? dont have that pc here.
I remember when connecting the monitor for the first time that i could not use the hdmi-cable. But thats another story.
Its better to examine that pc myself. old monitor must be connected using the internal slot.

    SOLVED -unknown what was wrong

    Solved-Monitor is now working.
since my friend added external speakers somebody was changed. maybe it was the monitor-button. digital-analog. "no hdmi" was shown.

Its weird that screen-producers add bad internal speakers, resulting in weighty monitors and bad sound!

Prices low, almost identical with and without speaker. If i had known before that they are much more heavier i would not have bought it.
