Bios-update via usb-stick-only exe available not bios-file itself

For my alivedual-esata2 only an exe is available but not the bios-file itself. win-version has both. is that normal? had to rename aduals1.90.exe since only 8 letters are accepted for executing.Thanks a lot

BIOS was integrated in exe. But no option to save old bios.
asrock has a special bios-security.
cmos is still showing 533 memory but they are now 800.
