Sticky mouse!!
What could cause a wireless mouse to act like it is stuck in place?? New batteries, reboots, replacement mouse don't seem to calm things down. But as I type, it is deciding to act normal, for now???????? Something is obviously interfering with this blasted little rodent!!!

Wireless can be interfered with by cordless/cell phones and the like. One of the reasons I still use a tailed mouse.

Yep, many types of devices can cause wireless interference including Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, outdoor microwave links, WiMAX, wireless game controllers, wireless video cameras, Zigbee devices, and so on. Even bad electrical connections can cause broad RF spectrum emissions.
