Increased resolution on winxp- i see shadows(double-letters)
After resolution was set quite high on my winxp-pc with 27" screen i see the letters doubled, shadows to the right side.
Is this microsoft or a fault? menue-letters are quite/too thin. one cannot set fat only size.

I could resize certain bars and letters in general but not favourites-bar in firefox.

I could deactivate "shadows under menue". maybe i must restart or reboot. I see these shadow allover all letters. not only menue. maybe checking nvidia -settings. will check second pc. the light shadow is on the right side of every letter.
-
shadows i meant seem system-immanent on winxp
see imageSCHATTENBUCHSTABEN.jpg
i tried out everything advised. on other pc is the same.

That looks good to me, but then I have been wearing glasses for a bout 50 years too.

These shadows deteriorate visibility. even on a high-res, screen.
wierd is nvidia has blocked gamma-settings inside menue and testing for winxp(its seems also vista). ok could be done in system-panel of them.

NOT SOLVED
Nothing helped also not a second tip to make backgournd transparent in a submenue of system. administrators right used.
Biggest problems are shadow fo the same color of the letters. like white/white. If shadow would be in a lighter or darker color of background(like shown somewhere) that would be better.
If MS will not set a removal option in windows 9 that would be a big shame!
