How to repair corrupted Doc files?
It seems "europanorama" has fixed the problem by getting a new Doc file. He/she is lucky as he/she could get a new Doc file, but what about those who don't have any other file except the corrupted one? Once in my past I was also one of them. It was last month when I lost some of my valuable documents which was created in MS Word 2003. It was corruption due to which I lost my documents. There was no hope to get them back since I tried each and every possible solution to no avail. I tried to repair the files by using Open and Repair, tried to open them in OpenOffice.org Writer (especially downloaded to open these corrupted documents), et cetera, et cetera. But no luck was there for me. Then I heard about some third-party recovery software for MS Word. I searched for them on Google, found a list of such kind of software. I tried demo version of some tools, one of them was sysinfotools ms word doc recovery. Compare to others it recovered my maximum data from corrupted Doc files. I felt quite satisfied by seeing the preview of my recovered file. I got its full version to save my recovered files. It was great. One may use this tool to recover corrupted Doc files.
Regards!

And back them up before they get a chance to be corrupted.

I have found an office-converter or combatibility-tool for office 2007. that could be the solution. will retry.
