First i must admit that i have only ONE PCIe-slot beside AGP and PCIs on my "new" board. Its the ASROCK mentioned elsewhere.
I do not yet know if that slot is working.
If ok, i would use the agp-videocard.

Is a usb3.0-controller PCIe x1 ok if i have external usb3.0 hdds?
Hs two usb3.0 ports(superspeed usb. 10x quicker than usb2.0(up to 5GBit/s)
I have one which is running as usb2.0 on an older MB.

Maybe better using esata-external drives only.
