I want to install Win 95 on my computer because I have a CD collection of literary works , readable only through a Windows 95-bound old software program.
Since I do not have a floppy drive on my computer, I thought to transfer the Win 95 Ms-Dos boot disc data ( which I have on CD) onto a USB stick, hoping that the system would boot from it for the Ms-Dos part and then allow me to do the setup from the Windows installation CD.

I have set the BIOS boot priority to read from the USB drive first ( shown as " USB floppy ").I have also tried the other USB options listed in the BIOS, like USB CD, etc) but nothing happens. It does not boot from any USB device.

The Ms-Dos files are good, because the MS-Dos boot kicks in right away if I use the CD from which the USB stick data were copied. The Bios has USB support.In addition, and this may be indicative of some other problem, the 2 USB slots in the front of my computer do not connect because the USB stick I insert is not seen in " My Computer". Incidentally, I have also installed a powered USB hub with multiple ports, because I found that without it not all of the USB slots in the computer see the USB device attached. How can I fix this problem?
