    tri boot

    have win xp & 7 duel booting now and wish to add win 8 to make it a triple boot.will it work or will I lose xp. anyone done this with no problems

    Install XP, XP boots

    Install 7, then 7 adds XP so XP and 7 can boot

    Then last install 8, so 8 adds XP and 7 so All three can boot
    Then you will probably want to Disable the metro boot loader

    no work

    when I installed win 8 on new hard drive-each os is on a separate drive--win xp disappeared, anyone tried this and had it work. 7 & 8 work but no xp on boot menu, duel xp & 7 worked fine
