I don't know how to fix this

When I have a link in my Windows Live Mail and I click on it, I get a drop down saying this:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel."

can someone tell me what to do? Thanks.

You would need to associate lnk files to a default program (browser)... which OS and browser?
If Windows 7 go to Start > Default Programs then: Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
