Advice needed on Solid State Disk Drive Purchase
I currently have a Windows 7 ACER Aspire One netbook with an Atom 1.6 ghz cpu, 1.5 gb ram, and 120 gb disk drive. I am considering the purchase of a 120 gb solid state drive for this machine in hopes of increasing speed and decreasing heat. I would appreciate the advice of anyone who has experience with this upgrade as to the feasibility and "worthwildness". Also suggestions on compatible drives for my system. Below is the current info on my drive. Thanks for your assistance.

Seagate ST9120817AS 120GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive
About the only things it would speed up, is boot time, programs opening, and the like.
That Atom 1.6 ghz cpu, 1.5 gb ram are quite limiting factors.
