My screen is shaking or jumping

I'm running a Petium 4 Desktop with a Dell Monitor running Windows XP Professional. My screen is shaking or jumping if you will & restarts when running certain programs. Can anyone help me with this problem?

I'm guessing it's a videocard issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the newest drivers for it.

I would check my settings, refresh rate and inspect video card checking if it is secure in slot. Sometimes when towers are explosed to high temps from cpu fan that is not working will cause the moniter to jump. If using Win XP you can also go to system tools and use the systems informations tools to see if you have forced hardware, memory problems or direct x etc. If it is doing it only when using a certain program. Uninstall it asap and restart to see if it fixed. Good luck

I just replaced the monitor now the problem is solved.
