    Input not supported

    Hi all,

Strange thing happening. Have a super micro X7DVL-E server. Put in new larger HDD, more ram and want to load server 2003 since we have it already. Boots up fine, set BIOS to boot off cd, windows starts, loads all the drivers, and when it gets to Starting Windows the monitor blanks out and has a error "Input Not Supported" Tried several LCD monitors but can't any to work. I can't see the monitor so I can't load the OS.

I have never experienced this before. Anybody know any tricks or have experienced this themselves?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks and cheers
    Joe

Could be Bad RAM, I'd try running memtest. I would also try a different monitor and/or different video card to see if it works.

Or you new ram is not close enough in tolarence to the old ram giving you that hair pulling error.
Try just the new ram and see if it works.
