    Size of Systempartition-Winxp

    Hello

we discussed size of systempartion where programs will be integrated.
So i have set 37gb but not only that.
I created a backup-partition of the same size.

I see now i have 21gb left on both partitions. I dont install that much and big programs.
How about reducing both by 10gb leaving 27gb?

I am asking since two of my drives are 320 gb only.
it will only by my next powerful pc to use larger drives.

    2. Is there a rule which size must have recicle bin? If its too smalle, what problems could occur?
    thanks a lot friends.

10 GB will work for C: using XP. 20 works better for a longer run.

I change the size of the recycle to something smaller on C:\, the rest I just do away with.

Will set 20gb since 16 is already used.
partition magic is working fine. Was a bit tricky to find out the procedure.

Will set 3gb for recycle bin on c.

Recycle, I use 500 MB, my preference is all that is.

Yes, PM will work with XP, just do not try it on Vista or Win 7. You can , but the problems that will cause are right nasty. Yep, have to do a clean install afterward.
