    I dodged card readers and use adapters for my memory cards.
    Remember, PCI is a lot slower than PCI-E.

    I dont have pci-e-pc yet. as you know i am always behind...

    i will get one of the cardreaders and compare saving-times of both cardreader/wia-loader(camera-direct).

    I am hesitating rebuilding an old dell pentium D. Should add drive and winxp-lycence.

    If at all possible, get a newer mobo and a quad core cpu. You will love the differences.
