Looking for video cards for these 3 computers.

What would be the very best graphic cards for these 3 model computers Emachine 667ir, Etower 633 ids & Gigabyte motherboard GA-81865GVM-775? Running Windows XP.

Do you really want to spend $500 each? Or do you have somewhat of a budget in mind?

Do you want "the best" for gaming or office type work?

Someone needs to find links to the specs of the pc's... Instead of all of us doing it individually, it'd be better if You provided the specs or links to the specs.

You also need to mention what wattage the power supplies are and if you have a budget to replace them too since it'll influence the cards you can get.

    Here are the links.

I didn't know that you could not use just any kind of graphics card for any kind of computer so I bought the VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 the 1 GB & 2GB & they did not fit any computer. So now I have to find the correct ones.

I would like a 512mb or 1 gb. Something that would improve my graphics.

THG has good price/performance charts every month. Try checking that out.

Etower 633 ids - As it does not have a AGP slot, you will need to use a pci video card in the slot closes to the cpu.

Max ram is 256 Mb per slot.

Note: those figures and link apply to the Emachine 667ir too.

    Gigabyte GA-81865GVMK-775 (Rev. 1.0)
Need a pci card too. And it will take 4 each 1 gb ram chips. And windows should leave you about 3.2 GB of ram after installing.

Be cheaper to buy new computers in my book.
