Printing problem

Trying to print to a HP printer that is connected by USB to a HP laptop. Print sharing is on, the printer works fine with the laptop. I'm trying to print from a XP computer, to the laptop that has vista installed on it. Both computers are on the same wireless network. Both have the same workgroup name.
I can see the laptop on the XP computer under add a printer, but the printer doesn't show up. Help Thanks G Ray

Go into the laptop and share the printer.

R-click the printer and select share.

Maybe these links will help.

Did you try installing the printer as local and adding a port to \\printerhostname\printersharename? You can also do \\IPofprinterhost\printersharename

substitute for the real names, of course
