Just back from vacation and have a lot of MOV files that I would like to combine & merge into single files. Anyone have some recommendations?

I was reading about Roxio Creator 2011 and I liked the feature where it could stabilize the shaky hand videos, but it looks complex and not sure it could merge files together. If it does, then maybe that is the solution.

I don't mind if I need one program to convert & another to merge, just not sure what is out there that people have been happy with.
