You knew I'd be back.
I have downloaded a program just to see how it worked but not really what I wanted. In XP I'd have looked through the registry to eliminate lines as I Can't find it in Ctrl panel or in lists of programs.
BUT, I don't know how to use run>regedit in 7 as no box appears.
The program is called alot.com.
Can I get rid of it as it's taken over the PC almost. I've removed it as my default page as it loaded with the screen message "content blocked by Vipre firewall" - my AV prog
