    Running Chkdsk in full mode

I tried to run chkdsk from the command prompt. It reported errors but couldnt fix them because it was running in read only mode. I ran it again from the safe mode but it was still in read only mode. How do I run it in full mode so it can correct the problems?

    Are you running:

    chkdsk or

    chkdsk /f or
    chkdsk /r

You should also run a hard drive diag from the manufacturer. If there are hardware defects, you should replace the drive.
