CDROM does not support audio extraction
Have you ever seen this error before? I have 4 CDROMs and one CDR that give this error under NTI CD Maker - It could be possible but I think it highly unlikely that none of my devices support audio extraction.
Hear the conclusion of the matter: NTI CDmaker software hated the VIA Bus master IDE drivers - when i uninstall them and went with the standard Windows drivers all my CDROMs but one support audio extraction.
Funny thing is that the disk benchmarks are the same whether or not I install the Bus Master drivers.
But hey - It's all working!!

Try this site:

Also try putting
digital audio extraction dae
into your favourite search engine such as
http://www.go2net.com/search.html
And yes Plextor are probably the best at doing it.

yeah, try download the program the author wrote that will tell you outright if your cd supports DAE.

Thanks everyone - I just had to know it was not the software...now I'm off to spend a little more $$$ on a CDROM that supports DAE
AS IT TURNED OUT i HAD TO SPEND NOTHING BUT TIME - THE VIA BUS MASTER DRIVERS AND THE NTI CD-MAKER DIDN'T WORK TOGETHER.
